The Marion County Board of Supervisors met in regular session on Tuesday.

The meeting started with the board approving a request from Habitat for Humanity related to use of Low Moderate Income Matching Grant Funds. The proposal is for the Central Iowa Housing Trust Fund Grant and the board approved $10,000 after a presentation by Amy Meyer with Habitat. The board also approved the 2nd reading of a zoning amendment to 645 190th Avenue in rural Pella for Main Street Investors, LLC, a resolution for the Weiler Site Plan in the Reimer Subdivision, a FY26 Living Roadway Trust Fund Grant Agreement, and a resolution to direct the County Auditor to publish a notice of hearing for the adoption of the proposed Marion County Code of Ordinances. 

The meeting closed with the board approving a letter of understanding with The Austin Peters Group, LLC of Fort Collins, Colorado, in relation to the compensation and job classification study.
