The PCM volleyball team went 2-1 at the Newton Cardinal Early Bird Invitational on Tuesday to open their 2025 season.

The Mustangs fell in set one to Newton 21-14 but game back to win set two 21-13. In set three the Cardinals picked up the win 15-10. PCM picked up a dominant 2-0 win over Des Moines Hoover winning set one 21-6 and set two 21-7. The Mustangs won their match 2-1 against Saydel winning set one 21-12, falling in a close second set 25-23, and winning set three 15-10. 

PCM starts their season 2-1 and will next compete on Thursday at Lynnville-Sully.
