The Indianola Chamber of Commerce is holding a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Kwik Star on the north end of Indianola today. Ben Liebl with Kwik Star tells KNIA News he thinks the location will be a big draw for the Indianola community.

“For that one, it’s going to be what we call a Gen-3 Store. So it’s going to have a very modern look to it, so it’s going to have modern signage, flooring, just a really nice inside look to it. So I think people are going to be very surprised when the come in to do their shopping, just the appeal to it is going to be a nice draw for them.”

The ribbon cutting is today at 11am at their location, 101 Trail Ridge Rd.
