Two successful outings by Knoxville sports teams on Thursday. The Girls Tennis Squad swept Chariton 9-0. Bridgette Liston, Addy Dunkin, Jordyn Counts, Ashlynne Marvelli, Ayla Williams, and Brylee Woolsey all won their singles match with Dunkin at #2 and Williams at #5 singles winning 8-0. In doubles, the Panthers swept the three varsity matches with the #2 team of Counts and Woolsey winning 8-0. Knoxville is off until Tuesday when the Panthers are back home to host Oskaloosa.

Meanwhile in Albia, the Knoxville Boys Cross Country Squad placed 2nd while the girls were fourth overall. Isaac Rankin is now 2/2 in races on the season winning Thursday night in a time of 16:19. Connor Schultz was 5th and Bradley Hembrook was 6th to place three Panthers in the top ten. The girls were led over the line by Nicole Schultz in 16th place with a time of 23:13. Knoxville heads to Wayne on Thursday.
