The Knoxville Community School District completed summer concrete work.

The projects included removing rock and filling with concrete along a fence at Randy Wilson Track, replacing eight panels on Panther Drive, and replacing the east entrance to the baseball parking lot with a poured approach and curb for water drainage issues. School Business Manager Craig Mobley says the poured approach will help with wash out issues.

“If anybody had driven through there or pulled in there they know that it was washing out pretty bad so we poured a concrete approach in there to one, make it better but two, to avoid any future wash out issues. All that work was concluded and we’re ready to go for the new school year.”

The work was done by Fine Line Concrete for just over $30,000.
