The Knoxville Volleyball Squad went 2-4 at the Skip Anderson Invitational on Saturday. Seeing teams from bigger schools and ranked opponents the Panthers played in two pools. The early pool Knoxville went 0-3 losing to Gilbert and North Tama in two sets and falling to Ames in three sets. In the later pool, the Panthers fared better going 2-1 beating Ankeny Christian in two sets and Urbandale also in two sets, but losing to Winterset in three sets. Knoxville is now 5-4 on the season and will play its home opener on Tuesday in a big South Central Conference match against Davis County.
