The Knoxville City Council will consider bids for the new public safety/city hall facility tonight.

The council will hold a public hearing for the precast material package for the project. The low bid for the precast package is a little over $1.1 Million from MPC Enterprises Inc. The council will also look to order bids for the construction project, consider a resolution to guarantee a local match for the Central Iowa Housing Trust Fund and accept facade easements for the Community Development Block Grant Downtown Revitalization project in Knoxville.

Tonight’s Knoxville City Council meeting will start at 6:15 pm at City Hall. This is a day later than the normal meeting date due to the Labor Day holiday.
