The Indianola City Council met in regular session Tuesday due to the Labor Day holiday.

The council approved the appointment of Carrie Woerdeman to the Planning and Zoning Commission, and Andrea Carlson to the Library Board of Trustees. The council also approved a contract with the Center for Public Safety Management regarding a staffing study for approximately $91k in a 5-1 vote with councilwoman Christian Beach voting against, and an agreement with MGT Impact Solutions for an organizational staffing assessment for $12.5k.

The council also gave direction to city staff regarding staffing positions at the Indianola Wellness Campus before going into closed session to discuss the purchase or sale of real estate.
