The Melcher-Dallas Volleyball Squad came back from down two sets to one to win in five over Mormon Trail on Tuesday night. The Saints took the match 26-24, 21-25, 7-25, 25-18 and 18-16. Kesley Reed had ten kills to lead the Saints in that department while Ashlyn Metz added seven, Lotty Nolte and Mady DeJong added three, each. Reed and DeJong were also good in serving, both going 17/19 with six aces. DeJong had 18 digs Reed and Sophie Lamb added six and Lamb had six assists. Coach Jesyka Nolte told KNIA Sports it was a great way to start the season. Melcher-Dallas begins 1-0 and will head to the Clarke Volleyball Kickoff on Saturday.
