The Pella Wellness Consortium will be hosting two free programs in the coming weeks.
The first event, Phone-tography, will be held Thursday, September 11th from 6-7:30 pm in the Graham Annex at Central College. During the event, graphic designer Bailey Short will show those in attendance how to use built-in features, angles, and lighting to capture professional-quality photos on a cell phone.
The Wellness Consortium will then partner with the Pella Community Foundation to hold Parents & Educators: Learn to Stop Defiance, Yelling, & Power Struggles at 7 pm on Thursday, October 2nd. Community members are invited to join Kirk Martin for the program, in which Martin will share different ways for parents and educators to work through difficult situations with children. The event will take place on the second floor of the Maytag Student Center at Central College.
