
The Pleasantville volleyball team defeated West Central Valley in five sets at home Tuesday night in a West Central Conference matchup.
The Trojans won set one 25-19 and then the Wildcats came back and won set two 25-16. Pleasantville then took a 2-1 lead winning set three 25-21 but then fell in a close set four 28-26. In set five the Trojans came out on top with a 19-17 win. Senior Lilian Mason had a strong night recording 18 kills and 17digs. Claira Vestal had eight kills on the night and Gabby Baethke had 34 assists and 18 digs.
The Trojans improve to 3-0 on the season and will be back in action on Thursday at a triangular hosted by Pella Christian.
