The Norwalk girls tennis team defeated Indianola Friday afternoon in a rivalry and Little Hawkeye Conference matchup 8-3. Norwalk earned singles wins from Kierdyn Stockwell, Leah Black, Elena Harder, Myla Brown, and Brooke McKinney to go up 5-1, with Indianola’s Emily Allen earning their only win.

The doubles pairings of Logan Geisler/Stockwell, Black/Harder, and Brown/Jacey Crane would all win, while the Indianola teams of Kate Halgren/Macie Crosson, and Alana Moser/Raegen Burrows picked up wins.

Norwalk will host Oskaloosa on Monday, while Indianola travels to Des Moines Roosevelt
