The 2025 Homecoming Court at Newton High School has been chosen. The eight Homecoming Queen candidates are Camryn Andrew, Harper Barton, Emmy Gross, Kayden Langston, Merissa Schiebel, Lily Springer, Brooklyn Sterling, and Tori White. The eight candidates for Newton’s Homecoming King include Kolt Ahn, Deshawn Boclaire, Caden Klein, Finn Martin, Micah Mattes, Wyatt Sterling, Nick Thomason, and Tyler Thompson. Newton Student Council Faculty Advisor and Special Education teacher Kelly Tremel says the court was chosen by the senior class, but the Homecoming King and Queen will be selected by the entire high school student body.

“We did have the senior class vote on their top eight king and queen candidates. Next Wednesday, all students can vote on the king and queen.”

Newton’s 2025 Homecoming King and Queen will be crowned during an 11:00 a.m. coronation ceremony Thursday in the upper gym at Newton High School. This year’s homecoming theme is “Mamma Mia”.
