The Indianola girls tennis team competed for individual spots at the state tournament on Wednesday. The doubles team of McKenzie McBroom and Ryen Blosser had the best day for the Indians placing third in a third-set tiebreaker, earning a state alternate spot. The doubles squad of Ashley Schultz and Kendall Hibbs fell in the quarterfinals, as did Emily Allen in singles action. Chloe Chaplin earned a fourth place finish. The Indians continue their team season next Wednesday in the regional qualifiers.
