The Melcher-Dallas Volleyball Squad pulled the sweep over Diagonal and Murray on Tuesday. The Saints swept the Maroons in two sets 25-23 and 25-19 while doing the same to the Mustangs 25-18 and 25-23. In match one Kesley Reed led in kills with three and Ashlyn Metz had two plus six digs. Calee Ademite led in serving going 12/13 with three aces while Maddy DeJong was 10/12 and seven aces. In set two, Lotty Nolte had five kills with Reed getting four. Reed and Ademite were both 12/13 serving while DeJong and Ademite had four digs apiece. Melcher-Dallas is now 3-4 and will travel to Moravia on Thursday.
The Saints Cross Country Squads ran at Eddyville on Tuesday. The Saints did not have enough runners to post a score but Amber Addington had an eighth place finish in the time of 24:42. For the boys Trace Mann led the Saints over the line in 12th place with a time of 20:38.
