In its final non-conference action of the 2025 season, the Simpson men’s soccer team grinded out a 0-0 draw on the road to Knox on Tuesday evening.

The Storm (3-3-5) for a second time this season ended a match with a scoreless tie, the first coming in the second game of the season against Illinois College. Simpson’s five draws already on the season breaks the program record, set by the 2009 squad that finished with four.

On the day, Simpson came away with four shots, with two coming on target from Kinnick Andrews and Iain Macrae. Romeo Alvarez and Brayden Sithonnorath also recorded one shot. Despite the limited chances, Simpson also held Knox (4-1-3) to only four shots, with Jimmy Berna recording the one save in the second half.

Mason Chaplin got the start in goal, going the first 45 minutes before Berna secured the second half with one save.

Simpson begins A-R-C action on Saturday, Sept. 27 with a road match against Coe starting at 3:30 p.m.
