The Jasper County Supervisors have extended the yearly contract with the company that handles the software for the Community Calendar listings on the county’s website. Jennifer Cross, Jasper County’s Social Media and Communications Specialist, notes the listings are not just related to events being held by the county, but are open to basically all other cities, organizations, and non-profits throughout the county. 

“We have had 18,900 event page views in just one quarter. So basically, what that means is, people are coming here, and they are looking at events.”

WITH is the name of the social media software company involved with the Community Calendar on Jasper County’s website. Their services through mid-July of next year will cost the county $10,800.
