The annual Knoxville Hospital and Clinics Girls Night Out will be held tonight.
The event from 5:00-7:00 pm on the Knoxville square is an evening of shopping, food, entertainment, activities, giveaways, and raising awareness about women’s health. There will be more than 60 vendors at this event featuring crafts, cosmetics, baked goods, jewelry, and more along with local health care providers available to talk to women about taking care of their health and scheduling appointments. Girls Night Out will also have musical entertainment from Mason Hatch and several food trucks. Proceeds from the event will benefit the future South Central Iowa Radiation Center. Katrina Nelson with Knoxville Hospital and Clinics encourages women of all ages in the community to come out.
“It’s just a unique event to hold in our community where you line the entire street with vendor booths, where you have the food trucks, where you have the live entertainment. It’s just a nice, fun community event.”
The KNIA/KRLS Lil’ Big Red Radio will be at Knoxville’s Girls Night Out for music and announcements. Interviews from KHC staff will be played between 6:00-7:00 pm.
