Indianola Football Faces Test Tonight Hosting WDM Valley

The Indianola football team against the largest school in the state tonight, welcoming the Tigers of West Des Moines Valley to Indianola Stadium. The Indians ran out of gas against a lightning-quick Newton team last Friday night, getting outscored 27-7 in the fourth quarter in what was a close game, and will face a different challenge tonight with a Valley team that is battle-tested and doesn’t have any two-way players. Head coach Eric Kluver tells KNIA Sports it will be an uphill climb, but the Indians can’t go in with any other mentality other than trying to win the game.

The game can be heard live on 94.3 KNIA, and the Indianola Activities YouTube video stream, with Andrew Swadner, Rick Wilson, and Rob Hawkins on the call. Pregame coverage begins at 6:30pm, with kickoff at 7pm.
