The Pella Fire Department is bringing back a traditional event to kick off Fire Prevention Week. Assistant Fire Chief Jason Schroeder says the 8th annual pancake breakfast will be held at their fire station on Main Street from 6 to 10 a.m. next Saturday, October 4th. Assistant Chief Jason Schroeder says there is a wide range of activities for all ages, especially for kids. The Pella Fire Department breakfast includes a full meal, raffle drawing, tours of the Pella Fire Station, and new this year, paid rides on fire trucks.
