The undefeated Pella football team is hoping to stay that way back on a long road trip, this time heading to a new venue in Marion. The district calendar begins for the 4-0 Dutch with a Wolves team they haven’t played since the early 90s, according to BCMoore’s historical data.

Marion has gone 1-3 in its non-district schedule, with a 21-12 win over Center Point-Urbana, but otherwise, has been on the wrong side of three lopsided losses.

Landon Tilkes is a key player on both sides of the ball for Marion, leading the team in rushing yards (198) and tackles (22). The Wolves have forced six fumbles defensively and tallied 33 tackles behind the line of scrimmage, also forcing three interceptions.

Live coverage begins at 6:30 this evening on the KRLS2 stream on the KNIA/KRLS Mobile App and web stream, with kickoff scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at Marion High School.
