A ribbon cutting and open house was held for the Knox Collective on Wednesday.
This event put on by Hanna Vander Veer and Sara Roberts with the Knox Collective along with the Chamber of Commerce board saw a strong turnout from community members to celebrate this new addition to Knoxville. The event included a brief presentation, ribbon cutting, and opportunities for attendees to learn more about The Knox Collective and how they help welcome Knoxville’s newest residents.
The Knox Collective is an organization to help new residents and employees get connected with the community through Knoxville Starter Kits, local information, and collaboration. Vander Veer tells KNIA/KRLS that it is exciting to celebrate this project getting off the ground and underway.
“It’s just a nice celebration for this new business that Sara Roberts and I have finally gotten going. We’ve been talking about it for years now and we’re excited to be well underway and making progress with our new resident visits.”
