Indianola residents can help get Buxton Park ready for winter and take home some decorations later this month, with Indianola Parks and Rec hosting the annual Buxton Bouquets event. Kathy Kester with the City of Indianola tells KNIA News you can join City Horticulturist Angie Buchanan at Buxton Park to harvest flowers and foliage before the beds are cleaned out and the park is readied for winter. Bring hand shears or pruners and a container with water to hold your blooms, and it is suggested you bring gloves. The event is October 18th from 10-11am.
