Norwalk golfers Ian Lux (left) and Parker Cary earned all-conference status on Friday.

The Norwalk boys golfers finished in second place in the four-team Little Hawkeye Conference Fall Classic at the Indianola Golf Club on Friday. The Warriors ended the day with a team score of 300, trailing first-place Dallas Center Grimes by eight strokes.

Senior Ian Lux led Norwalk, placing fourth with a score of 73, while Parker Cary and Tillman Papcun followed behind, placing seventh and eighth with scores of 74 and 75, respectively. Lane Juergens and Dayton Poen placed 11th and 12th, both scoring 78, and Kota Bentz rounded out the Warriors, scoring 80 and placing 16th.

The Warriors will enter IHSAA Fall District play on Tuesday as they return to Copper Creek Golf Club in Pleasant Hill to compete against 13 other schools. First tee is scheduled for 10 a.m.
