
The Knoxville Volleyball Squad swept the competition at the Newton Invitational on Saturday winning the team title. Knoxville won all four matches in two sets to none sweeps over Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont 21-8 and 21-14, Boone 21-6 and 21-7 Davis County 21-11 and 21-13 and Newton 21-19 and 21-18. Knoxville raises its record to 21-7 which is the 7th straight season that Knoxville has won at least 20 matches in a season. The Panthers will get back to the South Central Conference with a match against Chariton on Tuesday. With a win Knoxville can clinch no worse than a share for the South Central Conference title.
