Pella in Pink was held Sunday afternoon at the Cordova Park Pavilion at Lake Red Rock. 

The event, presented by the Pella Regional Health Center Foundation, included a brief program, bounce houses for children, and a nature hike around Karr Trail. Breast Care Nurse Navigator Kim Pearson said that it was great to see a large crowd attending the event and showing support for their loved ones.

“I think it speaks to the need for community. We as humans are designed for community and I think especially when you go through a trial like breast cancer, you very much need to be surrounded by people who understand what you’ve been through, and I love to see people come together to support that cause.”
