This week is National 4-H Week.

The theme is “Beyond Ready”. As America’s largest youth development organization, 4-H empowers 6 million young people nationwide with hands-on learning experiences through clubs, camps, school programs, and community events. Through the Beyond Ready initiative, 4-H will help prepare 10 million youth for work and life by 2030.

The purpose of 4-H Week this year is to highlight how 4-H helps youth become “Beyond Ready” for college, career and life. Marion County 4-H is doing theme days every day this week for National 4-H Week. Find all the list of events below.

Marion County has 12 active 4-H clubs throughout the county, along with a number of clover kid groups for those who are younger than fourth grade. 4-H groups typically meet once a month and offer a wide variety of programming and opportunities throughout the year.
