The Knoxville Fire Department Fire Prevention Week Open House will be held tonight.
The event, which coincides with Fire Safety Week, will be from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at the fire station and include a chili dinner, fire prevention trailer, kids inflatables, equipment and vehicles on display, and at 6:30 there will be a live fire demonstration to show the importance of home fire sprinklers. Knoxville Firefighter and Paramedic Brandon Glenn encourages the community to come out to the event.
“We want everyone to come out. It’s an exciting event, this is your community and we know we have the support of everyone here in Knoxville so come on out and see the fire department that you’re supporting.”
The theme for this year’s Fire Prevention Week is “Charge into Fire Safety”.
