
Simpson College and the John C. Culver Public Policy Center is hosting the Rev. David Beckmann in his World Food Prize Laureate Lecture later this month.
Beckmann was honord as the World Food Prize Laureate in 2010, serving as a former longtime World Bank economist who also served nearly 30 years as president of Bread for the World, has built a network of 3,000 churches and two million people working to serve those in greatest need. and will discuss “Faith and the Politics of Poverty in a DIfficult Time.”
The lecture will be on October 22nd at 1pm in Hubbell Hall in the Kent Campus Center on the Simpson College campus.
