A local plumbing company partnered with Lennox International to bring the “Feel the Love” campaign to the Pella community. Mike Van Haaften with Van Haaften Plumbing & Heating says they have partnered with Lennox to install an HVAC system for a local family.

“It’s a wonderful feeling, we’re very glad to be here,” he says. “This particular heating and cooling system has been a little problematic over the past few years with random service calls in the dead of winter. It makes me feel good to see a new, dependable, warranted system going into this house for Jill and her family.”

Jill Van Stryland Long, a single mother, was the recipient of a new furnace and air conditioning unit.

“It is amazing,” she says. “[Mike] and his team had done a few bandaid fixes last year, which is costly also, but I knew I was needing a new one, so when he called to say this was happening, it was very special.”

Lennox provided the equipment and Van Haaften Plumbing & Heating donated labor and other installation materials, at no cost to the homeowner. Since the national program began in 2009, more than 2,300 installations have been performed throughout the U.S. and Canada.
