The Pella School Board reviewed and approved 2025 certified annual report at their meeting Monday evening. It detailed the status of the finances of the district from the most recent fiscal year and required board action for approval. The board also approved extension of tax increment financing districts with the City of Pella for two urban renewal plans at Fox Ridge and Fountain Hills. Additionally, the board prepared for the annual Legislative Roundtable work session scheduled for October 27th and reviewed planning for superintendent interview groups. Additionally, the board looked at the certified enrollment numbers, which will be finalized on October 15th for approval after that date. Projections show a decline of approximately 40 to 50 students, attributed to large graduating classes and smaller incoming kindergarten groups.
