The Pleasantville volleyball team fell to Des Moines Christian Monday night on night one of the West Central Conference Tournament hosted by Des Moines Christian.

The Trojans fell in set one to the Lions 25-16 but came back to win set two 25-19.  In a close third set, DMC ended up coming out on top 15-11 to win the match. Lily Mason led the Trojans in kills with 11 while Claira Vestal had five. Gabby Baethke had 17 assists in the match.

Pleasantville falls to 15-19 on the season and will compete in the consolation bracket of the tournament tonight starting with a match against West Central Valley at 4:30.
