The Knoxville Fire Department participated in State Fire Marshall training this past week.

A fire trailer was parked in Knoxville throughout the week, where the department could train in it with simulations that closely resembled a real fire attack according to Chief Cal Wyman. The firefighters trained on search and rescue along with fire attack skills. The Knoxville Fire Department works through many monthly training sessions during the year.
