The Warren County Board of Supervisors met in a regular session on Tuesday, which included a change in the Camper and RV Ordinance. The changes state that one cannot occupy a camper or RV as a residence for more than 21 consecutive days, unless in a licensed camper or RV park. The ordinance does state that a temporary hardship exception can be applied for. The board approved the first reading of the ordinance, which will be revisited on November 6th, where they will also discuss code enforcement.
Supervisors also approved the use of the justice center grounds for the downtown farmer’s market next year, plans of the Warren County Secondary Roads sprinkler system project, and the vacation of a portion of Jewell Street. There was also an approval of 2026 health insurance for county employees, with a 1% increase in cost split between the county and county employees.
