Road construction on Highway T17 will start on Monday.

This work will involve a lane closure with flagger and pilot car and also incremental full road closures. The schedule for the work includes one road beginning Monday for milling the entire segment from Hwy 5 to Old Hwy 92.

A full closure of the south half will begin on approximately November 3rd for 5-9 days, then there will be a full closure of the north half which will begin immediately following the south half for 3-7 days. Finally, one lane resumes for granular shouldering with flagger and pilot cars, as well as rumbles and pavement markings, with final completion anticipated the week of November 17th.

Throughout the duration of both the south and north half closures, a detour will be in place on Hwy 5 to Hwy 92 to Old Hwy 92 and visa-versa. All side roads adjacent to the closure will be closed at T17, with no access permitted onto T17 during the period of the closure.
