The Knoxville Cancer Relay announced last Friday that they raised $23,500 in their 2025 fundraising campaign.

The team returned to Randy Wilson Track to reveal their final fundraising amount for this year. The relay has now passed a major milestone by surpassing $300,000 raised in total for the American Cancer Society in twelve years of running. The relay team now invites people to mark their calendars for Thanksgiving morning at 8 a.m., when it hosts the second annual KCR Turkey Trot 5K run at the Knoxville Rec Center to launch its 2026 fundraising effort.

Money raised for the American Cancer Society helps their efforts toward research, advocacy and patient services.
