The Knoxville Public Library has started a Classic Movie Club that meets monthly.

The club will meet tonight, and on the first Wednesday of every month and is an opportunity to enjoy a classic film in a group setting. The library encourages everyone to bring a friend, snacks, and their own chair if they would like, but the library will also have chairs available. Tonight, the club will be watching “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers” and the showing starts at 6:00 pm. Knoxville Public Library Adult Services Librarian Cari Meissner encourages everyone to attend.

“You are invited to come and enjoy a classic movie. Our pick for this month is “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers” and I was telling people at trivia the last two months if they have not seen this movie they need to watch it because it is a classic.”

The Knoxville Public Library is located at 313 E Montgomery St. and all programming is free and open to the public.
