A flag raising ceremony will take place Friday at Graceland Cemetery in Knoxville in honor of Veterans Day. 

The Knoxville American Legion Post 168 will lead the installation of the 250 American flags that line the cemetery. The flag raising starts at 9:00 am and there will be a ceremony to follow. This event is open to anyone and gives community members the opportunity to come out and honor all veterans who have served our country, or are currently serving. The legion is also looking for volunteers to help put up the flags along with taking them down on Wednesday at 3:00 pm.

Graceland Cemetery is located at 102 Willetts Dr. in Knoxville.
