Voter participation was down in 2025 compared to the most recent City/School Elections held in 2023 in Warren County. In 2023, 6,500 votes were cast across the county with a voter turnout rate of 16.47%, while in 2025 6,010 votes were cast for a turnout rate of just 15.09%.
Voting in Indianola did not necessarily follow the trend of the county as a whole, with the Indianola City Council At-Large seat seeing higher numbers in the at-large race compared to the previous election with both races being uncontested, a high participation of votes for Indianola Mayor, and similar numbers compared to the Ward 1 and Ward 3 elections two years ago.
Votes for the Indianola School Board were significantly down from 2023 however, with three seats up for election and only 6,844 votes cast compared to 2023 where there were 10,411.
