The #4 Pella football team is hoping to return to Cedar Falls and the UNI Dome tonight at home against #8 Decorah in the Class 4A state quarterfinals.
The Dutch are the defending state-runners up, and aiming to get back to the final four against the 8-2 Vikings, who knocked off Western Dubuque on their long road to Pella High School.
Pella Head Coach Ben Bollard says there are only good teams remaining, and that it will likely take their best game of the season to date to knock off Decorah.
The Vikings are led by dual threat quarterback Tanner Caddell, who has 1182 yards and 18 passing touchdowns, with 501 rushing yards and 8 rushing scores. Tight end Noah Milburn has 511 receiving yards and eight touchdowns.
Live coverage begins at 6:30 this evening on 92.1 KRLS and Pella Dutch Live, with kickoff at 7 p.m.
