A rich tradition of excellence continued for the Pella music programs through the Iowa High School Music Association All-State Music program.

Eight students will be representing Pella on November 22nd in Ames in the Chorus:
Joeley Helle – soprano 2
Abbie Brand – alto 1
Abby Hietbrink – alto 1
Riley Black – tenor 2
Chase Swenson – tenor 2
Milo Van Haaften – tenor 2 (2x honoree)
Malachi Van Haaften – bass 1
Trace Hopkins – bass 1 (3x honoree)

Seven students were selected to the band, including:

Kyler Lyons – String Bass
Leah Boualavong – Flute
Abby Kalkwarf – Clarinet
Isaac Steenhoek – Clarinet (2x selection)
Jaeda Van Zante – Clarinet
Noah VandeKieft – Tenor Saxophone
Olivia White – Trombone (2x selection)

The 2025 All-State Music Festival will be held November 20-22 at Iowa State University.
