100+ Men Red Rock presented checks to The Seeds of Hope Foundation and Restoring Eden, which are the organization’s third quarter recipients.
Check presentations were held during 100+ Men’s third quarter meeting at Higher View Enterprises in Knoxville on Tuesday. The Seeds of Hope Foundation operates in memory of Chasen Stevenson, a young farmer that died at the age of 31 from an aggressive and rare cancer. Their mission is to support other young farm families diagnosed with long-term illnesses. Funds are used to financially support young farm families diagnosed with long term illnesses. Families receive a support package that includes apparel, prayer card, and a check.
Restoring Eden is dedicated to regenerative farming and ethical animal husbandry. They equip individuals with the skills necessary to enhance land health, grow organic produce, and raise animals sustainably. Their organization collaborates with local ministries, including The Pella Food Shelf and The Well, as well as schools, to offer training, internship opportunities, and hands-on experience in sustainable agriculture.
100 + Men are a group of men committed to giving back to the Lake Red Rock area by financially supporting the charitable organizations that serve the Red Rock region. They hold quarterly meetings to support local causes using a simple model:
100+ participating men x $100 contribution = $10,000+ to local charities in the Red Rock region.
2025 marks the group’s tenth year of supporting the Red Rock area. Since their founding in 2015, they have given over $365,000 back to Red Rock-area organizations.
