The Norwalk girls wrestling team opens the 2025-2026 season tonight, competing in a five-team meet at Des Moines Hoover. Junior varsity matches will begin at 5:00 p.m., followed by varsity action at 6:00. The Warriors will be taking on Southeast Polk, Des Moines Public Schools, Central Decatur and Audubon. Returning wrestlers for Norwalk include senior Katie Liedtke, who was a state qualifier last season.

The Norwalk girls basketball team will host an Achieve Scrimmage tonight against Dowling Catholic at the NPECC. Fans are encouraged to bring canned goods or consider making a free will donation to help the Norwalk Area Food Pantry. The JV scrimmage starts at 5:30, followed by the varsity at 7:00.
