The Indianola girls basketball team is hosting their first exhibition contest of the season tonight, and helping serve those in need in the community in the process. The basketball athletes welcome North Polk to Indianola High School for an Achieve Scrimmage, and are asking those attending to bring food that will be donated to The Helping Hand of Warren County. Attendees are asked to bring non-perishable foods, and encouraged to bring peanut butter and jelly, canned soup, cereal, muffin mix, mac and cheese, and pasta and pasta sauce. The JV exhibition begins at 6pm, with a full varsity scrimmage starting at 7:15pm.
