A public open house has been scheduled in Indianola regarding the Central Iowa Regional Transportation Planning Alliance (CIRTPA) plan.

CIRTPA released a draft of the Long-Range Transportation Plan after receiving results from a public survey over the last several months. The Long-Range Transportation Plan outlines a 20-year vision for the region’s transportation system, focusing on preserving existing infrastructure while identifying strategies to enhance mobility and expand travel options throughout the area.

The open house is scheduled for December 4th from 10:15am to noon at the Indianola Public Library.
