The Simpson College Community Orchestra is holding a performance tonight. Linda Benoit with the Simpson Community Orchestra tells KNIA News the orchestra is significant because it has the commitment of so many people from the community, including teachers, former teachers, current members of the Des Moines symphony, high school students, and Simpson College students. The performance is Sunday at 7:30pm in the Blank Performing Arts Center, and is free and open to the public.
