It will be everyone doing a little bit more than in previous seasons for Melcher-Dallas Girls basketball, as the Saints get their season underway tonight at Wayne. Melcher-Dallas graduated an outstanding senior class led by the program’s all-time leading scorer in Addi Wadle. That said ,the cupboard is nowhere near bare for Coach Kelsey Goff. She tells KNIA Sports many of the girls returning this season still got minutes on the court last season, and now they will be the main players.

Goff: “It’s different and going to be a challenge for Larry and I. We’ll figure it out and try to concentrate on their strengths”

Returning this season is First Team Bluegrass Conference performer from last year Kesley Reed who led the Saints in rebounding, also Maddy DeJong, Danni Enfield, Lotty Nolte and others. Tonight’s game is set to start at 7:30.
