The Pleasantville girls basketball team will open their season tonight on the road at Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont for a non-conference matchup.

The Trojans will have a fairly young roster this season but will bring back Ryleigh Hardman, Emmy Hiemstra, and Taylor Perkins who were all significant contributors last year. Pleasantville’s current roster is comprised of six freshman, seven sophomores, no juniors, and one senior. The Rockets have played one game this season and are 0-1 as they fell to Lynnville-Sully in lopsided fashion on Friday. Pleasantville head coach Allyson Price will be entering her third season.

Tonight’s game in Eddyville starts at 7:15 pm.
