Several KNIA/KRLS area football players earned recognition from the Des Moines Register on their All-Iowa football teams.
Emmanuel Diers of Pella was selected to the Elite All-State Team, one year after teammate Nate Warner earned the honor. Diers led Class 4A in rushing in his senior season.
Hayden Shannon of PCM also earned Elite-All State Recognition on the offensive line.
Nick Milburn of Newton was an Elite honoree at linebacker, leading Class 4A in total tackles.
Luke Brewer of Norwalk was a Class 5A All-State choice by the Register.
Kyler Van Maanen and Benjamin Griffith of Pella earned 4A All-State Honors, as did Newton’s Caden Klein, Finn Martin, and Dawson Maki.
Gavin Steenhoek and Dominic Witt of PCM were Class 2A honorees.
Stanton Major and Braylon Bingham of Pleasantville were Class 1A honorees.
