The majority of the Indianola High School winter sports teams will be in action beginning this week. The Indianola girls basketball team tries to build off of their season opening victory against Urbandale as they travel to Ottumwa, while the boys swimming team hosts Newton at the Indianola Wellness Campus.
The Indianola girls wrestling team will also look to follow up on their good start to the season as they open up Little Hawkeye Conference action on the road at Newton, while the boys will start their season trying to continue their undefeated streak in conference action following the girls contest. The Indianola girls will host Des Moines Roosevelt on Thursday in a single contest, and both basketball teams are back in action on Friday hosting Newton in a LHC doubleheader.
